Some questions about AI don’t have simple answers.

This is where we discuss the bigger ones: power, responsibility, trust, human agency and the kind of AI future we actually want.

What should stay human?

AI can write.

Summarise.

Translate.

Code.

Recommend.

Analyse.

Create images.

Give advice.

And it will become capable of doing more.

So perhaps the most important question isn’t:

What will AI be able to do?

It might be:

What do we still want humans to do?

Teaching?

Caring for people?

Making art?

Making important decisions?

Giving advice?

Building relationships?

Something else?

And here’s the difficult part:

Why should that particular thing remain human?
